IMU V2 pour Wookong M
DJI a constaté que si un S800 est lourdement
chargé (par exemple au-dessus de 7kg), l'IMU du Wookong M peut avoir des
difficultés à maintenir une altitude fixe.
DJI a développé l'IMU V2 pour le Wookong-m, idéal pour les S800 pesant plus de 7kgs.
Cet IMU V2 sera disponible début avril.
DJI propose aux clients possédant un S800 couplé à un Wookong M, la mise à jour de leur IMU.
Cela impliquera le retour de votre IMU actuellement installé sur votre modèle.
Procédure de Mise à jour :
(uniquement pour les clients utilisant un S800 couplé à un Wookong - LA FACTURE SERA DEMANDÉE)
1. Contactez DJI (imu_upgrade@DJI-Innovations.com) et faire une demande de Mise à jour IMU
2. Retournez votre IMU chez FPV4EVER après obtention de l'accord de DJI
3. DJI nous fournira un nouvel IMU V2 que nous vous retournerons

After continued and extensive testing, DJI has found that if a S800 is heavily loaded (for example above 7kg), then in some flight situations the WooKong M IMU may have difficulty maintaining a fixed altitude .
DJI have specially developed a new Wookong-M IMU with an improved hardware and algorithm for this particular situation and the IMU also has a metal case, this new version is better suited to S800 setups weighing more than 7kg. The new IMU will be released in early April.
DJI would like to offer an upgrade option to current S800 / Wookong-M users. The upgrade involves the exchange of your current IMU.
Upgrade Procedure:
1. S800 / WKM user contact DJI (imu_upgrade@DJI-Innovations.com) for your WKM IMU upgrade request
2. S800 / WKM user sends the current IMU back to the dealer after getting confirmation from DJI
3. DJI sends the new IMU to the dealer
4. The dealer returns the IMU back to DJI HQ
To obtain the Cost of this upgrade: please contact imu_upgrade@DJI-Innovations.com

Résolution problème d'altitude sur Wookong M
Recently we have received some information about WKM dropping height during
flight, some specific customers also encountered the problem of WKM dropping
height during hovering, actually through a large number of tests, the reason of these
problems has been identified.
The following are the specific reasons:
Due to the imbalance of the propellers or deviated installing position of the IMU,
which lead to one side of the IMU stay right against the fuselage. The excess
vibration of fuselage transmitted to the IMU, make it cannot work normally.
We tried to balance the propellers and covered the side of the IMU with some
dampers on 10 aircrafts which have the dropping height problems, and finally the
dropping height problem disappeared.
So here are our solutions:
First of all, we strongly recommend that users could DIY some damping schemes,
such as balance the propellers or add some damper around or under the IMU. These
will probably relieve the problem. Some customers had already verified it.
In addition, DJI has developed the firmware 5.21 beta (below is the update steps),
when the throttle has been pushed up to more than 85%, the dropping problem will
be gone, this will save you from some risks, the feedback from the testing users is
satisfied.

Dji mets a disposition une nouvelle version de son logiciel Ground control System ., il passe a la version 4.07 .

What’s Changed?
- Control value of Yaw, Roll and Pitch can be adjusted in keyboard mode.
- Add UI float tips for common information.
- Add VPN to solve the problem that in some areas can not load the google earth.
- Add the GPSExplorer tool in GS CD for getting the attitude data after you use the Photogrammetry Tool.

Suite a une polémique sur la distance de l'emetteur radio DJI sur le Phantom .
Il est averé que la portée radio est bien au dela des limites légales superieur au kilometre .
Cependant attention avec l'usage d'autres appareils WIFI , comme le Wifi bacpac de la Gopro ou le Wifi integré au nouvelles Gopro 3 , cela réduit la portée enormement avec risques .

Please Do Not fly the phantom with any WiFi devices together, because WiFi can probably interfere the radio signal of Phantom, and affect the flight!

Pour etre encore plus en accord avec les textes , suite a de nombreuses demandes , une fonction atterrissage automatique s'enclenchera des les limites de distances atteintes . Pas plus d'infos .
Et bientot , des dates et heures sur les fichiers Log , du Iosd Mark 1 ou 2 .
Soon :
Auto landing when flight limits reached .
Time on the flight log file from Isod mark 1 or 2 .
